Background

隆雪家具公会成立于1956年,成立的宗旨是希望促进同业的交流,团结力量,分享知识,以共同促进家具业的发展,携手面对国际竞争。

隆雪家具同业公会从创会至今已走过了60年,目前会员人数750家企业。回首数十年会务发展历程,公会历经了马来亚独立、马来西亚联邦成立的时代,可说是见证了家具业从手工劳作的阶段到现今转型为机械化,今日大马家具的出口量排名全球第八,出口到160个国家。

自成立以来,在推动会务和团结同业的过程中,我们必须制定一套可持续、明确的发展蓝图,以确保各项发展计划能贯彻始终,有传承及依据,不至于因人事流转而阻碍工作进展。

配合政府5年一期的“大马计划”,本会也以5年为一个战略期,分阶段推动595大方向,确保595大方向如期往前推进。
 

595大方向意即5大目标、9大计划及5年战略。
 

本会成立宗旨:

1.       成立一个具有代表隆雪家具业的总机构。

2.       促进隆雪家具同业的联系与合作并致力提升马来西亚家具业的良好声誉与形象。

3.       促进本会与各社团组织以及相关政府部门的联系与交流并建立良好关系。

4.       推动马来西亚家具迈向国际。

5.       代表隆雪同业与政府协商与探讨家具业所面对的困难。

6.       举办展览会、交流会、讲座会,及贸易考察团以提升我国家具业之水准。

7.       为会员推介及提供资料,如:市场资料、 贸易促销、家具新产品 及工艺技术等方面的资料。

 

隆雪家具公会自2008年起主办马来西亚家具与装饰展销会(MF3),该展览会主要对象是国内消费者。

展销会是家具同业最有效的市场渠道之一,同时也是本会的经济来源之一。因此,持续推动及提升该项展销会,是帮助同业走向国际的主要策略。有鉴于马来西亚的家具出口占据全世界排名8,MF3以“国际品质,优质保证”的口号,恰到好处的响应了以出口高品质的本地制造家具销售给消费者,希望能为消费者带来高尚质量的生活。

消费者可以借MF3的展览,购买国内最新颖的家具,不管是从室内的家具产品或是室外景观家具、家居的陈设摆置以致漆料配色、居家电器等等,MF3也都一并俱全,为民众提供更简洁快速的一站式服务。

Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Furniture Industry Association (KLSFIA)

The Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Furniture Industry Association (KLSFIA) was established in year 1956 with the initial objective of fostering interaction and unity among furniture entrepreneurs, sharing knowledge and promoting development of furniture business in respond to international competitions and challenges.

The association has a strong membership base of 750 furniture players from Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Throughout the 60 years of history, the association has experienced the eras of Independence of Malaya and the formation of the Federation of Malaysia. The development of KLSFIA has witnessed the furniture industry of Malaysia significantly transformed from a handicraft business to an automated business. Meanwhile, Malaysia is ranked as the 8th largest exporter globally. “Made in Malaysia” furniture products are exported to over 160 countries all over the world.

KLSFIA has set up a clear system and plan with a sustainable development program, namely “595” vision so as to ensure all development plan can be executed systematically and to have vivid strategic every year.

 

595 means: -

5 Main Goals, 9 Major Plans, 5 Strategic Years

There are 5 main goals which form the drive of 595, representing the determination and ambition of the KL and Selangor Furniture Entrepreneur Association in striving for the best and in integrating with international standards.

In alignment with the government’s five-year ‘Malaysia Plan’, we have conceived a five-year strategic plan to implement 595 directions in stages. The objective is for the plan to be executed as scheduled and to achieve clear definitive outcomes every five-year.

 

Objective of KLSFIA:

1.    To represent furniture manufacturing and trading industry at Kuala Lumpur and Selangor under the umbrella of an organization.

2.    To promote good relationships and co-operations amongst furniture industry and improve the reputation and image of the furniture industry..

3.    To promote better understanding and good relationships between the Association and other guilds and societies and government authorities.

4.    To promote the Malaysian Furniture Industry internationally.

5.    To represent the furniture industry in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor area in all discussion or negotiation with the Government concerning  issues affecting the furniture industry.

6.    To organize exhibitions, talks, seminars and business tours aimed at raising the standard of the Malaysian Furniture Industry.

7.    To make recommendation and provide information to members on matters of mutual or common interest such as market information, trade promotion, product development and technological advancement.

 

MF3, the home furniture fair organised consecutively every year since 2008, is brought to you by the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Furniture Industry Association (KLSFIA), the main umbrella body for the furniture industry in the state, to go all out to set a brand image of Malaysian furniture to ensure sustainable development, bringing quality and affordable home furniture and furnishing solutions to homeowners.

With a consumer-oriented approach and free admission, the signature furniture fair enjoys a huge turnout every year, prompting nearly 100% of participating exhibitors to agree that the MF3 is the best and the most effective branding platform to jumpstart their furniture product lines and sales.

Malaysia is currently ranked as the 8th largest furniture exporter thus MF3 is using a slogan of ‘Export quality, Better quality’ which aimed to bring fine quality ‘Made in Malaysia’ furniture to local consumers. We hoped that we can bring our consumer a better lifestyle with a premium quality concern.

In addition, MF3 also gathers varieties of furniture and furnishing products and services from interior designing to landscape, decorative to paintings and electrical household items all under one roof!

 

MF 3 Visions and Mission

·         To build up MF3 as a brand-building platform for furniture players and connect them directly to end consumer;

·         To set a platform for members to showcase the latest furniture

·         To gather the retailers and manufacturers to work together

·         To achieve the government’s vision by creating more innovation idea and promoting branding via MF3 branding hall “Hall of Elite”.
